shaper studios x patagonia vancouver

Surf night in downtown Vancouver featuring surf scene partners. Organised venue, marketing and movie screenings. Set up mini Yulex show and sold 3 wetsuits online.  Attendance was 950 people in total. 

Subsequently, we made a surfboard with one of the scene partners to put on raffle during all June 2017 events + showcased in store. $5 per entry with all proceeds going to Georgia Straight Alliance. We raised $800.

in-store + community events

Responsible for all marketing initiatives, bespoke events and social media for Patagonia Vancouver Store. 

Managed and executed all aspects of 23 in-store events in 2017, including the Pacific North West tour of Chris Burkard’s film ‘ Under An Arctic Sky’ & a Worn Wear bespoke pop up for Khatsilano - Vancouver’s busiest street party. Presented and hosted all events, which benefited relevant local environmental non-profits. 

Grew Patagonia Vancouver’s Instagram channel by 7000 followers in 8 months to become the leading North American channel for engagement.

cabin jams

Hosted Patagonia skiing ambassador Leah Evans for her newest release ‘Cabin Jams’ to a sold out crowd at Patagonia Vancouver. 

Created a bespoke cabin area for the event, including a fireplace and bar, managed the social marketing, travel logistics and material requirements. Raised $1200 for Girls Do Ski- Leah’s non-profit enabling at risk youths access to the mountains.

khatsilano

Created a unique outdoor concept for Patagonia Vancouver based on the companies Worn Wear policy for Khats, Vancouver’s largest outdoor street festival. 

Developed multiple showcase Patagonia products to display, organised vendors, materials, insurance, talent, staffing and raised $3000 for SCACL.

super highways zine launch

Created marketing strategy and managed bespoke invitations to various media groups and wider community for Patagonia Vancouver’s Zine launch. 

Responsible for hiring all talent and vendors, licensing and negotiations and digital output. 

The turnout was over 2000 people and $3000 was raised for Wildlife Defence League.

Developed an art and music show to accompany Christian’s book reading in-store. $800 was raised for Surf-Rider Vancouver through beer sales.

tofino short film festival

 

Organised the outdoor movie festival with Surf Rider Tofino. Managed social marketing, film contracts, food & beverages and sourced all materials and equipment to budget. Turnout was over 300 people and we raised $2000 for Surf Rider.

Responsible for multiple stops of this event. Created artwork and managed online awareness campaign for the Central West coast Forest Society through Instagram, Mailchimp and Facebook channels. 

Negotiated and produced customised artwork design for clothing and beer collaboration to be sold throughout the tour.

fish people film screening

Responsible for all elements of the Vancouver premiere of Fish People – A Patagonia full-length. 

Created a surfboard showcase with community partners Shaper Studios, including a specialist surfboard to use as a giveaway for the night.

$2000 dollars raised for Georgia Straight Alliance.

under the arctic sky film screening

Organised the PNW tour of ‘Under An Arctic Sky’  with Chris. We had a full house in all venues (Vancouver, Victoria and Tofino). 

Hosted two screenings in one night at Patagonia Vancouver. Attendance was 700 at $10 a ticket per person with $5 profiting Surfrider Vancouver.  

Organised everything from contracting, to logistics to transport + accommodation. All events had local food trucks present, various beer companies pouring and we send bespoke invites to social media influencers + local PR companies.

island earth film screening

Co-ordinated the negotiation and concept creation for the West Coast Patagonia store tour of Cyrus Sutton’s film ‘Island Earth’.  

Organised multiple vendors and produced specialist zines to be distributed at the events. The shows were a sell out with proceeds benefiting Island Earth.
